Cooking class in Chania

  A thoroughly worthwhile evening cooking authentic Cretian food. Our hosts were fantastic providing us with a history lesson, fantastic location and delicious authentic food. I highly recommend this cooking class!

  I could not give this family and this activity enough stars or praise !!! Hands down the best thing we did across our 16 day Greece trip!!

They asked about all of us, so in turn, we were able to connect with the others in the class. We learned to cook traditional Cretan food and we were told the fascinating stories and history of the specific meals that we prepared. The setting was beautiful, on the edge of their olive grove. We cooked more food than we could eat and were able to take food home for dinner (this was a lunch time class). The food was so good and the recipes were easy to follow and will be easy to replicate. The hosts guided you through the history of each dish you made & plenty of tips & tricks to cook like a local. This is FULLY hands on-you prep & cook everything yourself (with supervision & encouragement of course).
